It helped me not only get the certificate but also learn the exact knowledge. We all learn as a group, and Joe gave us many subjects to discuss and each student must talk something about the subject. Offers to give extra time needed before class for help, and is very understanding, friendly and motivating. The small class sizes are great. Here is what one of the Health Care Assistant program students says about Vancouver Career College: “My instructor has taught me many things like being strong and not giving up cause I know I can do this. Even though I have found this course difficult but as an individual when I finish I will still have a smile on my face. My teacher has taught me a lot. Our instructors always had new ideas and methods either about your life or school in general. She always wrote on the board to be more clear and understanding which I like because it was very helpful to me. My experience at Vancouver Career College has been a lot of fun. I have met a lot of new people. Everyone was friendly and showed me around when I was lost some days. Instructors were all amazing without them I would not be here today, especially with all the help that is given. Maybe in the near future I hope some of my friends attend this college to get an experience like I did.”

Construction Electrician Foundation Students Learn Safety and Rigging Techniques in Burnaby BC

The program builds on students’ understanding of safety and rigging techniques, electrical circuit concepts, and construction and circuit drawings. Students will build their computer skills, be introduced to solid-state components using a variety of power supplies, and examine and design the internal circuitry of galvanometers, ammeters, voltmeters, watt meters, watt-hour meters, and ohmmeters.
